Well, You can only imagine that 24 hours in a day is just not enough! My official preparations, aside from all the travel meds and flu shots, began after work on Thursday. I got my hair cut! Really short. Even shorter than last year and I had never had my hair that short before. Low maintenance is the key. The only problem is my passport photo looks like someone else. Next came the packing and as always, I take too many things. I will go through everything again tonight and probably lighten the load a bit. We leave for Regina tomorrow afternoon and I fly out Wednesday around noon. I think I might be able to relax once my bags are checked and I have my boarding pass in hand. The weather makes me nervous at this time of year. A 3 hour highway trip in Saskatchewan in January can be interesting (very interesting) or completely uneventful. I'm hoping for the "uneventful" kind of trip. Perhaps there will be an email connection at the airport in Frankfurt and you will hear from me mid trip! Until next time.................... Marcia
